Our History
The Nagpur
Marysalian Society is established by the Congregation of The Salesian
Sisters of Mary Immaculate of the Roman Catholic Church founded in
Nagpur in the year 1889 commonly known as “Houses of Mary Immaculate” in
the Northern province, in Maharashtra, primarily for Catholics,
nevertheless with the desire to extend its services to all irrespective
of caste, race or creed .
The aims and
objectives are -
a)
To promote general education both
formal and non-formal
b)
To provide for the social
upliftment of the people especially of the poor and needy
c)
To
run and administer the existing institutions like –

These Institutions
are at the service of all the children irrespective of caste and creed,
race and community according to the principles and teachings of Christ
so as to train students to have strong moral character and be
responsible citizens of our country.
d) To
establish, administer, run and maintain new educational and social
institutions and existing ones, particularly for girls, boys and women
as also to develop, expand or support them for purposes mentioned in our
Memorandum.
e) We forms
the minds and hearts of the students to develop the potentialities and
thus to take their rightful places as good citizen and worthy members of
society. We as educators are proud of this task for we have the
privilege to be the makers of a great nation. This demands a lot of
sacrifice, labour and dedication. We as the educators keep our spirit
high even in the face of trials and difficulties as to let Divine light
shine clearly on the students. The fruit of our labour can be seen in
the life of our former students and their works today.
